Stress and
anxiety can seem to take over our lives and render us
helpless. It’s easy to get caught up in all the drama and
let those stressors dictate how we live. Believe me, I
know!
So who am I and why should you listen to me?
I personally
struggled with anxiety and panic for over 40 years that was
aggravated and brought on by excessive stress in my life.
I tried just
about everything from medication (Zoloft, Paxil, Effexor,
Lexapro, Klonopin, Cymbalta, Buspar and many more),
psychotherapy, natural herbs and everything else under the
sun.
To say the
least they didn't work and the medications I was taking left
me feeling drowsy, dependent and debilitated me for years
and even
resulted in me having a heart attack in August of 2006...
As a result
of that eye-awakening experience I decided that I would go
on a crusade to not only end my own stress and anxiety but
teach others how to end it for themselves before something
as dramatic happens to another person.
I warn you,
if you think you can get 100% better with medications, you
may want to rethink that...
Medications can make you feel worse and even alter your
physical health!
Listen to this EYE OPENING story...
You might think you understand being dependent on a
powerful drug like morphine but until you go through
it yourself I doubt that anyone can fully get the
meaning of it all.
This dependency was caused by
misinformation from doctors and a desire to have
a better quality of life.
The chronic pain I had been in for the last 10 years
had been building up to a point where morphine slow
release capsules and morphine patches were the last
hope of getting relief.
Little did I know at the time that inside the brain
a change was happening.
Everyone said that as long as the medication was for
medical reasons and the body was using it for the
pain, it was unlikely addiction would occur.
Apparently that was not the correct advice!
Family members upon hearing that morphine in any
form was being prescribed raised their concerns but
were always assured that all was fine and there were
no problems with the drug.
In fact that there was no feeling of even being on a
drug at all.
As time went on the dosage was increased as the pain
was still there.
After a few months it was decided by both the doctor
and myself that there was not a big change in the
level of pain on a significant basis.
It was time to go in reverse and decrease the dosage
every two weeks until the morphine was at the lowest
level and end the medication all together.
People are left to deal with severe withdraw
symptoms without any REAL help or guidance or
medical intervention.
In the next three days or so it was said that the
worst would be over and the drug would not be able
to cause any problems.
Needless to say this was not the way it turned out.
Thirty seven days, 20 pounds,3 ambulance rides to
the emergency room and one suicide attempt later I
suffered a heart attack.
Even when the doctor was called right before the
suicide attempt there was no response from his
office.
I
waited for six hours, in agony for that doctor to
return the call for help.
My mind was in a state of shock and confusion and it
was looking for more morphine.
After talking to a drug specialist in the emergency
room I was given some treatment options and managed
to survive the ordeal.
I
think there must have been divine intervention and a
strong inner core to get through a withdraw period
of such length.
The point is, be informed about your own medical
treatment and do not put all your faith and trust in
one person.
Just because they have a medical degree does not
mean that they know everything.

Lorraine, you were right on target
when you said The Regain
Your Freedom Technique was effective and easy to learn.
Finally I found a system that
really works once I made the choice to take control of my own life
and open myself up to receive help.
My life was a mess.
I was yelling at my kids, husband,
and I was even yelling at my co-workers. It was getting so bad that
my husband was afraid to talk to me because our conversations would
end up in a yelling match, my children went to their dad if they
needed anything and I was about to lose my job.
You don’t get any promotions when
you yell at the boss.
I did not know what was bothering
me, or why I was yelling instead of talking like I used to.
I just could not stop myself even
though everyday I promised that this day would be different and I
would change. Before long I would revert back into the same negative
patterns.
I was worried, afraid, stressed
out and extremely anxious.
One of my friends suggested I buy

I was embarrassed at first when
she mentioned this to me because I was in denial that other people
could see that I had a problem. After I got over the initial
embarrassment and listened to what my friend had to say I had to
agree with her, so I purchased Anxiety Ended- Regain Your Freedom

This book has given me hope and a plan of action to get control
of my life again.

me to communicate by yelling.

I had used many methods to rid
myself of anxiety but after 10 years of trying with no success -- I
thought that I would just have to live with anxiety and suffer in
silence for the rest of my life.

When I read that it was easy to do

I just finished reading The First
Step in The Regain Your Freedom Technique and done my first journal
entry.
I can actually see on paper the
pattern emerging about my weight gain. I never realized I was
nibbling and grazing all day long on cookies and bits of junk food
or whatever I could quickly pull out of the fridge or out of a bag.
It turns out that one reason I am
doing this is because I am scared and anxious to go outside.
I was in an accident 8 years ago
and have slowly been isolating myself from everyone.
I took a job I could do from home
and I can order mostly everything I need on the Internet or over the
phone.
I have been going out less and
less and getting physically bigger all the while.
With the journaling I see the
pattern I have gotten into and have been writing out my fears and
hurt so that I can let it go.
I understand now how past events
and situations can snowball into anxiety if not dealt with.
This is just the beginning for me
and I have not felt like I would begin anything again in a long
time.
I have issues to work on but I
know that your book , Anxiety Ended- Regain Your Freedom And
Overcome Your Fears will be a part of my recovery.
I understand that what happened in
the past is just a memory and is not happening to me now so I can
let it go.
I already have ideas for the
